Greetings fellow Wunderkind! I am so incredibly thrilled to finally be starting this segment of The Lodestone Review with a very talented fellow Substacker,

They returned England to nature. They pulled
London, and Blackpool, and Birmingham apart
brick by brick and let the ash and aspen and birch
reach over the clearings.
And the English restored the land to the Normans, who handed it
solemnly to the Anglo Saxons, who passed it to the
Romans, who passed it to the Celts. And the Celts
Well, the Celts scurried into the forest, and the forest
grew up around them. Woodland creatures made nests
on their tracks so they could never
ever
find their way out again
